This week we participated in an activity to help us explore the means of RARE architecture.
We where asked to create our most adaptable space as possible. Creating the largest space possible using the least amount or resources.
My group looking into the processes of origami and ways it can create space or spaces out of one single material or in this case a piece of paper.
We looked at how an object could be folded or compacted to then being expanded or manipulated into different curves or shapes.

Then finally we explored how a single surface could be cut and folded to create spaces, to be adaptable and transformable. Here the surface can be folded into a flat minimal object then transforms into two separate spaces, then three spaces then to one single space.
